Just wanted to add as a supplement to the word of the day, that exitoso/a is an adjective. If you want to say that someone is successful you can use the verb “tener” + éxito. So for example:
Tengo mucho éxito - I’m very successful.
Él tiene poco éxito - He isn’t very successful.
